Sure they have some good songs on their most recent album ‘Because of the Times’, but nothing can beat the classic feel good nostalgia and top notch array of songs compiled to perfection in KOLs ‘Aha Shake Heartbreak’. The skinny sex gods have been known to put a bucket (ahem) of time into their appearance, apparently getting their mum to sew their skinny legs into their even skinnier jeans. But hell I don’t mind, they obviously put enough time into their music, with their hits ‘The Bucket’, ‘King of the Rodeo’ and ‘Milk’ all on the album along with other lesser known but equally brilliant tracks. This album sounds like a beautiful summer’s day! Teasing lyrics about perfect nipples, bohemian dancing, cigarettes and heartbreak and those instantly recognisable Followill vocals, yes I’ve rediscovered my fascination with this album very easily indeed.
